Michael O'Connor has selected a host of platinum jewellery ahead of Mother's Day.
The jewellery designer has picked out platinum earrings, rings, bracelets and a necklace for the special day, which will be celebrated in the US on May 8th.
On the more expensive end of the scale is a vintage platinum locket on sale at Beladora.com. It costs $2,850.
Speaking about the selection, O'Connor said: "Vintage platinum lockets are the sweetest way to keep your kids close at all time and make the perfect gift because they can be passed along for generations."
The designer also picked out a pair of pearl studs set in platinum, which he claims is a wardrobe staple for all mothers.
Another option could be a platinum bracelet costing $500 that is available from BlueNile.com.
"I love the idea of a platinum chain because it's fashionable but still wearable," O'Connor said.
The other two ideas O'Connor suggests are a solitaire diamond pendant necklace from JamesAllen.com and a platinum ring with colored gemstones from WhiteFlash.com.
