A couple from New Delhi have won platinum jewellery as part of the Platinum Day of Love competition run by Platinum Guild International.
The winning couple were Geetanjali and Rahul Jain after they entered the competition on social networking website Facebook.
They won a platinum pendant and chain and a platinum bracelet created by designer Poonam Soni.
"We are honored by the response our story has received and thankful to all friends and community members who voted for us. Platinum Day of Love has indeed opened up a platform for people to share their wonderful journeys of love," the couple said.
They added that they are grateful to Platinum Guild International for the jewellery that symbolizes their love.
Vaishali Banerjee, Platinum Guild International country manager for India, said that the Platinum Day of Love campaign received an overwhelming response and that the company thanks all participants for sharing their stories.
The Platinum Day of Love competition closed on March 31st.
