Platinum jewellery is due to go on show as part of a new exhibition being held in New York City.
The Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, recently opened a new exhibition focusing on jewellery created by a famous Parisian jewellery house.
Set in Style: The Jewellery of Van Cleef & Arpels opened on February 19th and will run until June 5th.
Over 350 pieces of jewellery will be on show in the new exhibition, including those owned by the Duchess of Windsor, Daisy Fellowes and Elizabeth Taylor.
The exhibition will explore the historical significance of the company's contribution to jewellery design since its establishment in 1906.
According to a post on the T Magazine Blog on the New York Times website, one of the highlights of the exhibition is a set owned by Grace Kelly.
On show will be the screen legend's engagement set, consisting of diamond, platinum and cultured pearl jewellery.
