London retailer seeking platinum jewellery designers

A jewellery retailer in London is looking for six designers to create platinum jewellery for its new collection.

PureJewels is planning to launch the 2011 Platinum Heritage Collection following the success of a collection of the same name last year, reports Retail Jeweller.

Jayant Raniga, brand manager of the company, told the news provider: "This is an excellent opportunity for a designer to work with an established company, presenting a fantastic platform to be inspirational, creative and to push the boundaries of design.”

The new collection is due to be launched at a VIP cocktail event during London Jewellery Week.

Designers interested in creating platinum jewellery for the company's new collection must express their interest before January 20th.

London Jewellery Week is due to take place between June 6th and 12th.

It is the UK's biggest jewellery festival and is held at various locations across London, including Covent Garden, Clerkenwell and Sloane Street.
