CELEBRATE YOUR DAY OF LOVE WITH PLATINUM LOVE BANDS

Celebrity couple Mr. & Mrs. RAMESH ARAVIND chose to pick up and exchange Platinum Love Bands as a symbol of their everlasting love for one another at Sri Krishna Diamonds & Jewellery on Commercial Street in Bangalore, India.

The extensive collection of Platinum Love Bands and other pieces of platinum jewellery was prominently on display at the popular retailer. Mr. Kishan Surana, Partner, Sri Krishna Diamonds & Jewellery, commented, “We stock a wide variety of platinum jewellery as we are seeing that consumers come to the store asking for platinum because they appreciate high-quality. The demand for platinum jewellery at my store has increased year on year, as people are now aware of a better way to proclaim their love. Couples are choosing Platinum Love Bands to express their love to one another in an extra-special way.”

Speaking on the occasion, Ramesh Aravind said “Platinum has always been the perfect symbol of everlasting love. It is extremely rare and very precious, so what better way is there to celebrate and proclaim your commitment to one another than with platinum? Platinum rings celebrate a love that is truly eternal. Its rare beauty outlives the whims of fashions. Just like our love.”

Apart from the emotional values of platinum, there are a number of extra-ordinary qualities that make platinum stand apart from other metals. Since time immemorial, this naturally white metal with its moonlike luminescence has symbolized eternity. One attribute that sets platinum apart from other precious metals is its rarity. This precious metal is so very rare – it is 30 times more rare than gold.

Platinum jewellery in India is a minimum of 95% pure even when studded. So you really don’t have to give up on metal purity when you opt for diamond set jewellery in platinum. Platinum is a naturally white precious metal and platinum rings do not have to be plated with a shiny coat of rhodium, so there is no chance of the colour wearing out. Instead platinum has a luster that comes from deep within. This radiance never diminishes, delighting its wearer every day, year after year.

Platinum has been known to be favoured by Royalty and Celebrities the world over. Amongst the international celebrity couples, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, Beyonce and Jay-Z, Heidi Klum and Seal even Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise are a few who have expressed their love through platinum rings.

After decades of being together, a glance at your rings will confirm that they are as precious today as they were on the day you exchanged them. As you age together, the patina of the platinum love bands will tell your love story; the lines are the storyline of your life together. Platinum’s innate strength will ensure that your precious stones are securely held through a lifetime of wear.

Platinum wedding ring advice

In the wake of a raft of celebrity nuptials in recent weeks, couples have been given some advice on choosing the perfect wedding ring.

Writing for the blog Wedlok, David Mamane, chief executive of MyJewelryBox.com, explains how people can follow in the footsteps of the likes of Megan Fox, Carrie Underwood and Emily Blunt.

He says that it would be a good idea to choose a wedding band that matches the material of the engagement ring.

With platinum engagement rings being so popular when it comes to popping the question, this could mean that brides-to-be have the opportunity to double their bounty of the precious metal.

The expert also suggests that couples should shop together when searching for the perfect wedding rings to make sure that the right choices are made.
He adds: "Choose a style that compliments your fingers and hand. If you have a larger finger, a thick band will look more attractive than a thin band, while skinny fingers tend to look better with a small, simple, band."

Both Carrie Underwood and Emily Blunt were recently spotted with platinum eternity bands complementing their engagement rings.

The Williams sisters are among the lucky few tennis players to have recently received platinum championship rings.

After the recent victory of the Washington Kastles in the World TeamTennis Pro League, the team members were all given platinum rings by owner Mark Ein.

Also featuring silver, the rings have the players' names written on one side, along the RTL (Refuse To Lose) banner and team's logo, according to the Washington Post.

In addition to Venus and Serena Williams, other stars to receive the rings included Leander Paes, Rennae Stubbs, Scott Oudesma, Olga Puchkova and Nadia Petrova, as well as the team's coach, Murphy Jensen.

Championship rings are common with American sports to celebrate success in some of the biggest sports in the country.

Particularly notable are the rings that winners of the Superbowl receive from their owners and they are given not only to the players, but also to members of the backroom staff.

Eva La Rue was the recipient of a platinum wedding ring when she recently got married in Mexico.

The 'CSI: Miami' star tied the knot on the beach in Zihuatenejo on Saturday (June 26th) with Joe Cappuccio, according to Lovetripper.

While the surroundings and guests may have already made the event special, it was the ring she received that took it to a completely different level.

The news provider reports that, during the ceremony, she slipped on a Shenoa & Co. platinum and diamond ring that had been especially designed for her by Kerry Ryan.

Featuring three marquise diamonds - each more than 1.50 carats - platinum was the obvious choice as it would have helped to give the rind that extra sparkle.

Furthermore, it continued the theme from her engagement ring, by the same jeweler, which was also platinum and diamond creation.

As well as starring in the hit spin-off of the original 'CSI', La Rue has appeared in the series 'All My Children' and also featured in the movie 'Lakeview Terrace'.
