Eva Mendes shunned other precious metals in favour of some stunning platinum jewellery at the New York premiere of The Other Guys this week.
The actress stole the limelight on the red carpet wearing two platinum and diamond bracelets to set off her champagne-coloured gown.
She also chose some sparkling finger bling in the form of a grey Tahitian pearl ring set in platinum.
The 36-year-old was joined by her co-stars Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell, who star as two New York City detectives in the action comedy. Eva plays Sheila Gamble, the long-suffering wife of Ferrell's character Allen.
During the evening the star switched dresses, donning a silk print creation for the after party. But her jewellery stayed in place, proving that platinum can shine alongside any outfit.
