The Williams sisters are among the lucky few tennis players to have recently received platinum championship rings.
After the recent victory of the Washington Kastles in the World TeamTennis Pro League, the team members were all given platinum rings by owner Mark Ein.
Also featuring silver, the rings have the players' names written on one side, along the RTL (Refuse To Lose) banner and team's logo, according to the Washington Post.
In addition to Venus and Serena Williams, other stars to receive the rings included Leander Paes, Rennae Stubbs, Scott Oudesma, Olga Puchkova and Nadia Petrova, as well as the team's coach, Murphy Jensen.
Championship rings are common with American sports to celebrate success in some of the biggest sports in the country.
Particularly notable are the rings that winners of the Superbowl receive from their owners and they are given not only to the players, but also to members of the backroom staff.
