Platinum jewellery showcased at London Jewellery Week

A new platinum collection was one of the highlights of London Jewellery Week, which drew to a close on Sunday (June 13th).

According to Reuters, 'Treasure', which featured platinum pieces from local retailer PureJewels, was the week's stand-out event.

As well as including a display from PureJewels, which has a new store in east London's Green Street in the south Asian jewellery quarter, Treasure also showcased works from Joanna Dahdah and Swarovski.
Commenting on the variety of pieces on display, Della Tinsley, a director of the London Jewellery Week, told the news provider: "There are some extraordinary designers using all sorts of different materials and techniques, and having amazing inspiration."

Treasure was held at Victoria House on Kingsway, while other events took place in Hatton Garden and Newham.
This year's London Jewellery Week was the third of its kind and was supported by the London Development Agency via the City Fringe Partnership.

A fourth edition is expected to be held next year with additional sponsorship backing mooted.
