Kristin Davis sparkles in platinum jewellery

Kristin Davis showed that she could join the other Sex and the City ladies in the style stakes when she wore platinum jewellery recently.

The actress was in Japan for the latest premiere of 'Sex and the City 2' and she chose pieces by Fred Leighton for the big occasion on Tuesday (June 1st).
She opted for a platinum brooch with diamonds and onyx and a pair of vintage platinum and diamond earrings as she stepped onto the red carpet in Tokyo.

By going for the precious metal, Davis followed in the footsteps of a number of her co-, who have consistently delighted fans as they travel the world to promote the movie. At the same Japanese premiere, Kim Cattrall wore a pair of diamond stud earrings set in platinum, by Fred Leighton.

Meanwhile, British actress Alice Eve accessorized herself with a pair of platinum and diamond bands with a ruby when the film opened in New York.
