The Australian actress appeared at the 64th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday, June 13th resplendent in platinum jewellery.
She wore a five carat platinum and diamond ring by Can Cleef & Arpels, which she teamed with a shimmering silver suit.
Blanchett shot to international attention in 1998 after receiving acclaim for her performance as Queen Elizabeth I in the film Elizabeth. She has since appeared in the likes of the Lord of the Rings trilogy - in which she played the elf queen Galadriel - and Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull. Cate Blanchett also earned an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Katherine Hepburn in Martin Scorcese's The Aviator.
