Kate Beckinsale ends Cannes with platinum jewellery

English rose Kate Beckinsale continued to impress onlookers at the Cannes Film Festival when she wore platinum jewellery to the climax of the celebration.

The actress, appearing in a stunning red dress on the carpet, was one of the stars to attend the Palme d'Or Award Closing Ceremony on Sunday (May 23rd).
She opted for three platinum and diamond bracelets by Chopard, combining for a total of 116 carats of the gemstone.

Kate Beckinsale performed a key role as one of the members of the jury that decided on the prestigious awards. The big winner on the night was the Thai Film 'Uncle Boonmee who can Recall his Past Lives', which was given the Palme d'Or, beating out some impressive competition.
